Stagecoach

1/72 Scale

I had an inspiration to create a diorama where a stagecoach was being a attacked by Indians. IMEX produces a 1/72 scale stagecoach and depicts a galloping horses pulling a stagecoach with driver holding the reins. Imagine my disappointment when I opened up the box and found the horses just standing there and the driver with his arms up and coach is being robbed. Needless to say, it took alot of slicing and dicing to convert the horses, the driver, the shotgun rider and the Indian's horse that is falling.

The shotgun rider is a composite of 3 figures to have him twist around and shoot at the Indians. The horses bodies were kept for the harnesses. The heads, tails & legs came from cavalry horses.	Indian's horses was modified and Indian arched back.
The original passenger's arm was replaced with one holding a pistol.
