BALACLAVE - THE CHARGE OF THE LIGHT BRIGADE

This is the fourth phase of the battle of Balaclava that took place on October 25, 1854 between the British and the Russians. This is a 4'-0 X 6'-0 diorama depicting the Charge of the Light Brigade. Of the 673 men who went into action, the Light could muster only 195; 113 men had been killed and 247 were badly wounded. The figures are by Emhar and Strelets.
